A white painted beech and black leather fauteuil In the Louis XV style The shaped back surmounted by a floral bouquet, the padded arms with foliate scrolled uprights above a stuff-over seat, with conforming shaped seat rail on cabriole legs, together with a similar grey-painted and black leather stool, the fauteuil: 60.5cm wide x 57.5cm deep x 87cm high, (23 1/2in wide x 22 1/2in deep x 34in high) (2) Footnotes: Condition Report The fauteuil: Chips, scuffs and scratches commensurate with use. Wear, rubbing and discoloration to painted areas. Some repainted areas. Some visible splits, particularly to the back, with some losses and fillet infilled areas. Probable areas of repair. The stool: 41cm wide x 41cm deep x 39cm high Chips, scuffs and scratches commensurate with use. One more significant chip to one of the legs. Some heavier scratches and marks to leather upholstery.
