March (J.) The Jolly Angler; or Water-side Companion, first edition, [viii], 96pp., engraved frontispiece and pictorial title, illustrations, browning to frontispiece and title, a little light browning throughout, a few small holes to frontispiece, later half calf, rubbed with a little worming to calf, [Westwood & Satchell pp.143-44], 12mo, by J. March, Engraver On Wood, G. Berger and B. Steill, n.d. [1833]. *** Scarce in this first of seven editions; popular and jocular guide to angling, for which March also made the engravings, and printed and published the book. It is difficult to determine the priority of issue of this copy, however, as 'G. Berger' is not listed as publisher in the copies in both Westwood and Satchell and Heckscher.
