Artic Canada ca. 1940's An old and lovely carved grey soapstone seated boatman (hunter) depicted wearing a hooded parka, long pants and boots, having a carved stone inset face with black painted facial features. Provenance: Ex private collection of Mr. B. Farwell. New York. Condition: Right arm reattached, and some scattered abrasions. Size: 12x8.5cm Right arm reattached, and some scattered abrasions.
