1930s, signed, stamp mark Sevres Keramik, incised ligature monogram MR, reddish ceramic with red-brown glaze, standing female torso, good condition, H approx. 61.5 cm. Artist information: French sculptor and engraver (1872 Paris to 1953 Norgent-sur-Marne), training with Auguste Rodin, among others, from 1899 at the Salon des Beaux Arts with terracotta figures, models were made in 1901/02 by André Metthey in stoneware and in 1935 by the Manufacture Nationale Sèvres made of porcelain, he worked in Gaston Schnegg's workshop together with Antoine Bourdelle, Charles Despiau, Robert Wlérick, Léon-Ernest Drivier, François Pompon, Alfred Jean Halou, Charles Malfray, Auguste de Niederhausern, Henry Arnold, Jane Poupelet and Yvonne Serruys.
