Original semi-leather binding with grey paste paper cover. Set of the most important men of letters in Bohemia and Moravia, primarily writers and artists. Published by Wolfgang Gerle. The auctioned copy is a version that contained only copper engraved portraits by Prague engraver J. J. Balzer. The original frontispiece featuring a depiction of Chronos with a Czech lion is followed by 87 copper engraved portraits.
