A beautiful Coptic textile depicting a frontal portrait of a woman within a border of large reverse S's in ovals; woven in dark brown, red, tan, and one instance of green (central dot on chin) wool. Vibrant and contrasting hues. Matted and framed with ring on backside for suspension. Size: piece itself measures 6-3/4"H x 6"W; 13-1/4"H x 13-1/4"W framed.
