Roman Empire, ca. 1st to 2nd century BCE. A stunning and quite wearable gold ring. High carat gold (testing over 22 kt) ring with rectangular and oval bezels, one set with green glass the other with blue glass, small gold balls added to each side of the bezels. In ancient Rome, glass was almost as desirable as natural colored stones. US Size: 5-1/4.
