Group of 3 Egyptian Bronzes - Osiris, Isis, and Horus

A trio of Egyptian bronze figurines representing Osiris, Isis, and Horus.

Egypt, Saite Period, 26th Dynasty, ca. 600 BCE. The first of this group is a bronze cast figurine representing Osiris, god of the afterlife, death, life and resurrection, seated on a wooden throne. Classically depicted with a pharoah's beard, partially mummy-wrapped at the legs, wearing a distinct crown with two large ostrich feathers at either side and holding a symbolic crook and flail. This piece comes with a certificate of authenticity from Artemission, London, England. Custom block stand. Size for figure itself: 5-1/2"H.

Egyptian, said to be from Karnak cache, Saite Period, 26th Dynasty, ca. 664 to 525 BCE. The second bronze, a seated figure of the goddess Isis wearing tripartite wig, close fitting dress, horned crown with sun disk and uraeus holds her young son Horus (Greek and Roman Harpocrates) in her lap in a nursing pose commonly used to denote motherhood. Consort of the underworld deity Osiris, Isis found great popularity among Greeks and Romans, who spread her cult throughout the Mediterranean. Said to be from the Karnak cache. Custom block stand. Size for figure itself: 4-1/4" H without tang.
