Etruscan Bronze Statue of Herakles & Lion Skin

Northern Italy, ca. 4th century BCE. Large and wonderfully sculpted bronze statuette of Herakles. He stands contraposto, in the nude, hair cropped short, with the skin of the Nemean lion draped over his left arm, torch held in his right hand, body with well-defined musculature. 5-5/8"H (14.3 cm).

Provenance: EX-private Father Oscar Magnon collection, New Jersey, since 1978 via family descent.

Condition
Remarkably intact with deep green patina, some areas of light wear, section of lion skin with losses (possibly partially casting flaws), 3/8" crack/indentation on left hip - but overall excellent!
