Egyptian Limestone Sculptor's Model - Fragment

Egypt, Ptolemaic Period, ca. 3rd to 2nd century BCE. Small rectangular panel depicting a bust of an Asian or Semite in raised relief. Cf. G. Steindorff, Catalogue of the Egyptian Sculpture in the Walters Art Gallery (Baltimore 1946).
