Greek, South Italic, Apulia, ca. 370 to 360 BCE. An impressive Apulian red-figure lekythos by the Lampas Painter! The composition includes a helmeted and cuirassed warrior holding a spear and shield at left and a draped female holding a mirror at right, with a winged Eros holding a patera and candelabra between them. Size: 14-3/8" H (28.6 cm).
