Set of 7 Soviet propaganda and advertising reproduction posters, some in Constructivist style. 1. Rezinotrest pacifier poster designed by Aleksander Mikhailovich Rodchenko (1891-1956) one of the founders of Constructivism known for photomontage and new Russian design. The illustration features a red, green and black silhouette of a child with a variety of dummies in its mouth, the caption is rhymed in Russian and translates as - There have never been better dummies. Ready to suckle until old age. Sold everywhere. Rezinotrest. Good condition, creasing, tears. Country of issue: Russia, designer: A. Rodchenko, size (cm): 65x46, year of printing: 1990s; 2. Beat the Whites with the Red Wedge - featuring a great constructivist illustration by Lazar Markovich Lissitzky (El Lissitzky, 1890-1941) depicting a red wedge symbolising the Bolsheviks penetrating and defeating the White Movement.
