Original vintage propaganda poster calling for a demonstration against Battersea Power Station Disneyland, on 3 February at 7PM at Wandsworth Town Hall - Design by Brian Barnes (1944-2021) featuring an image of people with posters protesting against the theme park development,with a Mickey Mouse image, and the Battersea Power Station outline below. Printed by Wandsworth Community Printshop. In the 1980s, developer John Broome, the founder of Alton Towers, purchased Battersea Power Station with plans to create a theme park, the project was short-lived and the theme park was never built. Brian Barnes was a celebrated muralist and an activist known especially for his campaigns to preserve Battersea Power Station Very good condition, creasing, signed in pencil.
