Set of seven original vintage travel posters. 1. Lady in the national costume of Wales, a red jacket and black Welsh hat, seen standing by a large spinning wheel. A British Travel and Holidays Association Photograph. Good condition, creasing, bumps on edges. Country of issue: UK, designer: Unknown, size (cm): 76x51, year of printing: 1970s; 2. BEA to all points East USSR Romania Bulgaria Hungary Czechoslovakia, featuring a photograph of Moscow's Kremlin with a plane flying above. Printed in England by Chromoworks. Fair condition, folds, creasing, tears. Country of issue: UK, designer: Unknown, size (cm): 101x63, year of printing: 1970; 3. Austria featuring a photograph of a Spanish riding school in Vienna, depicting jockeys in elegant uniforms riding horses through a building with columns. Good condition, creasing, small tears. Country of issue: Austria, designer: Marianne Wullenweber, size (cm): 84x51, year of printing: 1970s; 4. Germany featuring a photograph of the Neuschwanstein Castle towering above the nearby landscape, with the mountains in the distance. Neuschwanstein Castle, a 19th-century fairytale palace in Bavaria, was commissioned by King Ludwig II as a personal retreat and a tribute to Richard Wagner. Built on a remote hilltop, the castle was never fully completed but has become one of Germany's most popular tourist attractions, drawing over 1.3 million visitors annually. Hannover featuring a photograph of the Herrenhausen Gardens, depicting ladies and gentlemen in elegant costumes walking along the fountain with ornate floral patterns around it. The Herrenhausen Gardens, a complex of four gardens surrounding Herrenhausen Palace in Hanover, Germany, showcases various styles from Baroque to English landscape. The Great Garden, a renowned Baroque masterpiece, and the Hill Garden, now a botanical garden, are highlights, while the Georgen and Guelf Gardens offer picturesque English-style landscapes for recreation. Printed by H Osterwald, Hannover. Very good condition, creasing. Country of issue: Germany, designer: Unknown, size (cm): 74x50, year of printing: 1970s; 6. Bremen featuring a photograph of the Bremer Marktplatz or Bremen Market Square, with the Bremen cathedral and the town hall, situated in the centre of the Hanseatic City of Bremen. One of the oldest public squares in the city, it is still used as a marketplace for the Christmas market and the annual Freimarkt Fair at the end of October. Good condition, creasing, tears. Country of issue: Germany, designer: Dodenhoff, size (cm): 74x50, year of printing: 1970s; 7. Pan Am for Scotland featuring a view over the Eilean Donan Castle in the Highlands near the Isle of Skye. Founded in 1927, Pan American Airways was an airline that was the principal and largest international air carrier and unofficial overseas flag carrier of the United States for much of the 20th century, until dissolved in 1991.
