Original vintage sport poster for the 1968 Mexico Olympic Games officially known as the Games of the XIX Olympiad held from 12-27 October 1968, featuring a fun illustration of a group of people, including an athlete, a lady stitching his clothes, a waiter, gentlemen in suits, a street sweeper, a shoe shiner, children, policemen seen running across the yellow background, with a caption in Spanish - Succeeding is everyone's job / Triunfar es trabajo de todos. The 1968 Summer Olympics were the first Olympic Games to be staged in Latin America. Lance Wyman worked on creating the identity of the 1968 Summer Olympic Games with the award winning Mexican architect Pedro Ramirez Vazquez (1919-2013). Good condition, creasing, staining, bumps on edges, foxing. Country of issue: Mexico, designer: Abel Quezada, size (cm): 89x89, year of printing: 1968.
