Set of 2 original vintage advertising posters showcasing the work of the poster advertising association of Canada. 1. Power of the "Extraordinary" poster that showcases a product in a vibrant, expressive way whilst staying "in tune with the times". The top section of the poster demonstrates a colourful Marvelube Motor Oil advert with Cuban men. Below the advert, pedestrians are shown spectating the billboard size poster depicting its ability to "grab attention". Designed by Poster Advertising Assocation of Canada. Very good condition, folded as issued. Country of issue: Canada, designer: Unknown, size (cm): 47x31, year of printing: 1920s; 2. Variety of different posters by the association for Nugget Shoe Polish, Beech Nut Fruit Drops and Winchester Cigarettes. The posters which are situated in the top third of the image have a road beneath them with monochrome sketched pedestrians and drivers depicting the hustle and bustle of a busy street. The slogan dominates the composition, reading that Consider posters create advertisement that goes straight to the heart of the story. Designed by Poster Advertising Association of Canada.
