Original vintage advertising poster for Takoradi Harbour entitled Native Chiefs in Palaver issued by the Empire Marketing Board featuring a great image of native Africans wearing traditional colourful clothing, standing under parasols and talking with a British officer in a white uniform and hat, the text below describing the new harbour - British Materials British Engineers Opened in April by the Rt. Hon. J.H. Thomas M.P. Located on the Gulf of Guinea in the industrial district of Sekondi-Takoradi in West Africa (now part of Ghana), the Takoradi Harbour is the oldest harbour in Ghana. Lithograph artwork by Spencer Pryse (Gerald Spenser Pryce; 1882-1957). Printed for H.M Stationery Office by Nathaniel Lloyd Co Ltd. London. Fair condition, restored paper losses, staining, restored tears, backed on linen. Country of issue: UK , designer: Gerald Spenser Pryce, size (cm): 103x64, year of printing: 1928.

We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes.  

We dispatch items within 1-4 working days after payment and notify customers if there is any delay. Delivery to UK addresses usually takes 2-3 working days. Delivery to international addresses varies depending on destination and usually takes 7-10 working days.
