October 22-29 1949 Raise the Savings Standard – featuring an illustration of a flying flag of the National Savings coat of arms with olive branches and a crown set over blue background. Issued by the National Savings Committee. Printed for H.M Stationery Office by Grosvenor Press, Portsmouth. Fair condition, tears, creasing, staining, paper loss on image. Country of issue: UK, designer: Unknown, size (cm): 38x25, year of printing: 1949; 2. The Royal Navy Badges of H.M. Ships. H.M. Forces Savings. Save while you serve – Your pay office will advise you – featuring the badges of Vanguard, Nepal, Magpie, Ark Royal, St. Kitts, Statesman, Illustrious, Amethyst and Tally Ho set over an image of a marine vessel. Printed for H.M. Stationery Office by Fosh and Cross LTD London. Fair condition, staining, tape marks on edges, repaired tears, creasing.
