Original vintage advertising leaflet for Vergani Cremona nougat, featuring a comic illustration of a man entering the jungle and meeting the native indigenous people, captions below in Italian read - He arrived in the Mandorlino jungle as a white child with his trusty black man by his side. But spied on and among the greens by the terrible savages. Who surround him furiously all armed to the teeth. Mandorlino is tied up and then soon transported to the Zulu camp where the tribe is staying. And the leader of the Zulu who is called Banzablu wants to cook both the help and the child to perfection. Mandorlin tells him: wait! Because she is ready, she has a well-filled box of extra Vergani nougat under the table. At the nougat the Zulus cheerfully celebrate; with the tuba on his head satisfied and Banzablu. On the great throne and Mandorlino proclaimed great King for the delicious dessert that he brought with him. Attracted by the mirage of such a good thing, they leave blacks and a wise child for Cremona. Very good condition, folds as issued, minor staining, double sided.
