Set of 10 original vintage advertising posters for German magazine Kolnische Illustrierte / Cologne illustrated, a German illustrated magazine that was published in Cologne from 1926 to 1945. 1. Cover with a photograph of three climbers, looking up with ropes on their shoulders; 2. Cover with aphotograph of Bernard Shaw playing with an apple cart. George Bernard Shaw (1856-1950) was an Irish playwright, during his career he wrote more than sixty plays including Man and Superman, Pygmalion, and Saint Joan; 3. Cover with a photograph of gentlemen at Stresemann's funeral. Hindenburg leaves the funeral procession and bids farewell to the diplomatic corps. Gustav Stresemann (1878-1929) was a German chancellor and foreign minister; 4. Cover with a photograph of a skier with number 18 skiing down the slope; 5. Cover for a Number 18 from 4 May 1929 features a photograph of two eleganl ladies in long dresses and hats and a gentleman in a suit with a sash, caption reads - Die funf Frankfurter leben wieder! / The five Frankfurters live again!; 6.
