Original vintage music advertising poster promoting a concert by Scott Walker held at The Dome in Brighton on June 21, 1968, for one night only, with The Herd and Mike Stuart Span opening the night as supporting acts. The poster features a black and white portrait of Scott Walker set against a black background, with the text printed in stylised bold white and orange letters. Scott Walker (1943 – 2019) was an American-born British singer-songwriter, composer and record producer who was known for his baritone voice and an unorthodox career path which took him from 1960s teen pop icon to 21st-century avant-garde musician. He rised to fame in the mid-1960s as frontman of the pop music trio the Walker Brothers before starting a solo career in 1967, moving toward an increasingly avant-garde direction. He continued to release music until 2018, and was regarded by many as one of the "most influential figures in rock history" with many of his records gaining a cult following. Condition: Fair condition, folds, tears, creasing, tape marks, staining.. Country of printing: UK, designer: Unknown, size (cm): 76x50, year of printing: 1968.
