A late 19th/early 20th Century four glass panel mantel clock, the enamelled roman dial probably inscribed `Smiths Company, London,` the eight day striking movement with mercury pendulum, open brocot escapement, with pierced lantern top, above decorative mask and leaf columns, raised on claw feet, the front panelled door with etching of `Daily News Premises` with dedication below, `opened 9th February 1885`, 18in.
