with curved double-edged blade of flattened-diamond section lightly engraved in the centre of the forte on each face, hilt of characteristic form encased in silver metal with pronounced nodules on the front and the edges, the inner face chased with a scale design, in its wooden scabbard encased in silver metal, with pronounced chape, the outer face decorated with flowers, foliage and crescents, a central leather panel applied with a silver plaited panel, and the inner face with three small loops for suspension, 65.7 cm overall
